Description
The Xiaomi Tag is a compact Bluetooth tracker made of white plastic that, thanks to its low weight of 10 g and dimensions of 46.5 x 31 x 7.2 mm, can be attached to keys, bags or other items. Via Bluetooth BLE v5.4 and an NFC interface, it communicates with compatible smartphones running Android 9 or iOS 14.5 (iPadOS 14.5) and higher.
For locating, an accelerometer and integrated buzzer are used, which enable motion detection and acoustic finding of the tag. The device is powered by a replaceable CR2032 button cell that offers approximately 8760 hours of battery life under normal use. The IP67 rating makes the tracker dust and water resistant, making it also suitable for everyday outdoor use.
