The Xiaomi Sound Outdoor is a compact Bluetooth speaker made of plastic with silicone corners, which is dust and water resistant thanks to IP67 protection and can therefore also be used outdoors. Two drivers provide stereo sound over a frequency range of 60 to 20000 Hz at a nominal power of 30 W. A built-in microphone also enables hands-free calling.

The connection is made via Bluetooth 5.4 with a range of up to 25 meters. Up to 100 speakers of this model can be paired, which allows a shared sound experience at larger gatherings. The 2600 mAh battery with a capacity of 18.72 Wh provides up to 12 hours of playtime and can be fully recharged in about 2.5 hours via the USB-C port.
