Description
The XGRIDS LixelKity K1 is a handheld 3D scanner that combines four cameras with a laser class 1 LiDAR sensor (905 nm). The LiDAR captures the environment with a field of view of 360° x -7 to +52° at a scanning speed of 200000 points per second, while the cameras with 48 MP x2 provide a color panorama across 360° x 360°, composed to a panoramic resolution of 56 MP. This results in colored point clouds with relative accuracy of 1.2 cm, repeat accuracy of 2 cm, and absolute accuracy of 3 cm.
The aluminum housing weighs approximately 1000 g and is protected to IP54 standard, operation is possible in the temperature range of -20 to 50 °C. Power is supplied by a battery with 28.8 Wh capacity, which with consumption below 20 W provides approximately 1.5 hours of runtime; an RTK module can optionally be installed. Data is stored on a TF card, read via USB 3.1 Gen2, and further processed in point cloud format .forest using Lixel Studio software. An app connection via WiFi is possible up to a range of 20 m. Thus, the LixelKity K1 is aimed at professional users in areas such as Digital Twins, Scan-to-BIM, or documentation.
