Description
The X-Sense SMS0A is a PIR motion sensor made of white plastic that detects motion in the room and sends a signal to the connected SBS50 base station when movement is detected. The base station then emits a 100 dB alarm sound. The sensor covers a 120° angle and detects motion in a range of 8 to 12 meters, allowing flexible placement in the room.
The sensor can be installed both on a wall and in a room corner. Via the X-Sense Home Security app, compatible with Android and iOS, system settings can be adjusted remotely. To operate the SMS0A, the SBS50 base station is absolutely required, as the sensor itself is not an alarm system but functions as part of a larger security system.
Power is supplied by two replaceable AAA batteries that, according to the manufacturer, last at least two years. The device is CE and RED certified and is suitable for users who want to equip their home with an expandable, app-controlled security system.
