The Uni-T UT533 combines a True-RMS multimeter with an insulation tester for test voltages from 50 to 1000 V. It covers voltage, current, resistance, capacitance and temperature and measures insulation resistances from 0.1 to 2000 MΩ. Thanks to the CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V safety categories, it is suitable for demanding installation work.

Description
The Uni-T UT533 is a 2-in-1 measuring device that combines a classic digital multimeter with True-RMS measurement and an insulation resistance tester in a single housing. In addition to AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance and capacitance, it also captures temperature values with a type K temperature sensor and thus covers common electrical measurement tasks in industry, laboratory and residential installation.
For insulation testing, the device applies test voltages between 50 and 1000 V and determines insulation resistances in the range from 0.1 to 2000 MΩ. This allows the condition of lines, motors and installations to be assessed before damage occurs. The results are displayed on a display with a resolution of 5999 counts.
With the safety categories CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V, the device is designed for use in demanding network conditions. The plastic housing is powered by six 1.5V LR6 batteries.
