Description
The UNI-T UT343D is a layer thickness measurement device for precise determination of paint thickness on metallic substrates. It covers a measurement range of 0 to 1250 µm, with a resolution of 0.1 µm in the lower range and 1 µm in the upper range, with an accuracy of ±(3%H + 1) µm. Measurements can be taken individually or continuously, complemented by maximum, minimum, and average values for evaluating multiple measurements.
The integrated quick test mode allows setting a tolerance range: if the measured value falls within this range, a three-color alarm with LED and acoustic signal displays the result immediately. The 2 inch TFT display with 320 x 240 pixels is rotatable and features brightness control, which facilitates readability in different working positions and lighting conditions.
Up to 500 measurement datasets can be stored in the device and transferred via USB to a computer, where the supplied PC software handles the evaluation. A low battery indicator and automatic power-off complete the equipment; power is supplied by two 1.5V AA batteries.
