Description
The UT262E is a phase sequence detector by UNI-T that operates via inductive clamps without direct contact with exposed conductors. This allows checking three-phase systems to verify whether phases are present, in what order they are connected, whether a phase is missing, or whether a cable is broken. Feedback is provided simultaneously via LED display and acoustic signal at 65 to 70 dB.
The device covers cable diameters from 2 to 40 mm and is designed for voltages from 70 to 1000 V at an operating frequency of 45 to 66 Hz. It meets the safety categories CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V and offers IP52 protection. Two AA batteries power the detector for over 20 hours of operating time, and automatic shutdown after approximately 5 minutes conserves energy.
The UT262E is thus suitable for service technicians and professional electricians who need quick and contactless verification of phase sequence during motor installations or maintenance of electrical systems.
