Description
The Uni-T UT202R is a digital clamp meter for the inspection of installations and the diagnosis of basic electrical circuits. The clamp design allows alternating current to be measured directly on the conductor without opening the circuit, which facilitates field measurements.
In addition to alternating current up to 400 A, the device measures alternating and direct voltage up to 600 V each, resistance up to 40 MΩ, capacitance up to 4 mF, and temperature from -40 to 1000 °C. This range allows for more comprehensive diagnosis of electrical and electronic devices beyond simple current measurement.
True RMS provides reliable measurements even with non-sinusoidal signals, while NCV, diode test, continuity test, data hold, and Max/Min accelerate daily workflow. The backlit display ensures good readability, the 28 mm clamp opening allows a comfortable grip around the cable, and the CAT II 600V / CAT III 300V rating covers typical electrical applications.
