Description
The UNI-T UT18E is a combined voltage and continuity tester for diagnosing electrical installations in both residential and industrial environments. It covers eight voltage levels from 6 V to 1000 V in alternating and direct current and automatically detects polarity in direct current. Additionally, phase sequence can be tested in the range of 100 to 400 V at 50/60 Hz.
For testing circuits, a continuity test is available with a resistance range of 0 to 60 kΩ, the result of which is indicated acoustically and by LED. Additionally, the UT18E tests residual current devices at 230 V in the frequency range of 50 to 400 Hz. The LCD display shows voltages from 6 to 1000 V and frequencies from 40 to 400 Hz.
With integrated illumination, silent operation, and a standby current of less than 10 μA, the device is designed for practical use. The IP65 protection class and the classification CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V make the UT18E suitable for professional use on construction sites and in industrial installations.
