Description
The UNI-T UT17B MAX is a True RMS digital multimeter that, in addition to classic electrical quantities, also measures temperature. It covers DC and AC voltage up to 1000 V, DC and AC current up to 10 A, resistance up to 60 MΩ, capacitance up to 6000 µF, and frequency up to 10 MHz. The temperature range of -55 °C to 500 °C expands the field of application to service and diagnostic work, where thermal measurements are also required. A Type K thermocouple is included, so this function is immediately usable without additional procurement.
The 6000-count display is supplemented by continuity and diode testing, data hold function, MAX/MIN and relative modes. Adjustable backlight, automatic and manual range selection, automatic shutdown with wake-up by pressing any key, as well as visual and acoustic alarms provide comfortable daily measurement operations. An alarm for incorrect connection and the overvoltage category CAT III 600V increase operational safety. Thus the UT17B MAX is aimed at professionals who want to reliably capture temperature beyond basic measurements.
