Description
The Truthear Hexa combines a 10 mm dynamic driver with three Balanced-Armature drivers in each earpiece to form a hybrid multi-way system. This combination distributes the reproduction of bass, midrange, and treble across separate drivers, so that each frequency range is handled by a dedicated unit.
The closed enclosure is composed of a mixture of resin, plastic, and metal, and uses neodymium magnets in the dynamic driver. The frequency response ranges from 8 to 40,000 Hz, with the effective listening range between 20 and 20,000 Hz. With an impedance of approximately 20.5 Ω and a sensitivity of 120 dB/Vrms, the Truthear Hexa can be driven by lower-powered sources.
The 1.2 m cable terminates in a 3.5 mm jack connector and is interchangeable via a 0.78 mm 2-pin connector on the earpiece. An integrated universal cable remote control allows music control directly from the cable. No active noise cancellation is present.
