Description
The LS106LP is an unmanaged Layer 2 switch with 6 ports for 10/100 Mbit/s and integrated PoE power supply on 4 of the ports. According to the 802.3af/at standards, it provides a PoE power budget of 41 W, with each PoE port capable of delivering up to 15.4 W – sufficient for devices such as IP cameras, access points or IP phones that are powered with both data and power via a single cable.
An extension function allows PoE transmission over up to 250 m, which enables the placement of end devices at greater distance from the switch. The switching capacity of 1.2 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 0.8928 Mpps ensure data throughput, a MAC address table with 2000 entries and support for Jumbo Frames up to 2 KB round out the equipment. Data transmission is performed according to the store-and-forward principle.
The fanless metal housing in black can be mounted either on the desktop or on the wall and is powered by an external power supply 53.5 VDC / 1.31 A, with the switch consuming up to 47.76 W at full PoE load.
