Description
The TerraMaster U8-500 Plus is a 2U rack NAS designed for use in large enterprises. Eight drive bays accommodate hard drives and SSDs in 2.5 or 3.5 inch formats and allow, in combination with the supported RAID levels 0, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD, a maximum storage capacity of 192 TB. Two additional M.2 slots provide space for fast cache or SSD storage.
Inside, an Intel Core i7-1255U with 10 cores and 12 threads runs at speeds up to 4.7 GHz thanks to Turbo boost and is supported by 16 GB of DDR5 RAM; if needed, the memory can be expanded to up to 64 GB. For connectivity, two Gigabit Ethernet connections and numerous USB interfaces are available, complemented by HDMI and VGA outputs for local operation. The file systems BTRFS, FAT32, HFS+, NTFS, ext3, and ext4 are supported.
