Description
The Avatto WHS20S is a thermo-hygrometer with WiFi connectivity that measures temperature and humidity in your home and makes them accessible via the Smart Life/Tuya app or voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Thanks to the 2.4 GHz connection, measured values can be viewed from anywhere and used for automated scenarios with other smart home devices, for example to control the air conditioner or humidifier depending on the measured values.
In addition, the device functions via a 38 kHz infrared transmitter with a range of 10 meters as a remote control hub for over 5000 IR devices, including televisions, set-top boxes, fans, and lighting. The LCD display with adjustable brightness shows the measured values as well as alarm, stopwatch, and countdown. The sensor is powered either by a 5 V/1 A power adapter or three AA batteries, and the housing is made of black plastic.
