Description
The SwitchBot Water Leak Detector W4402010 is a compact sensor for indoor monitoring that detects water at washing machines, dishwashers, sinks or in the basement before it causes greater damage. It distinguishes between individual drops, smaller leaks and larger flooding and reports every case immediately.
Setup is done without an additional hub directly via the SwitchBot app. Connection is made via WLAN and Bluetooth with a radio range of up to 120 meters. When the sensor detects water, it sends a notification via your choice of app, email, acoustic alarm or via Alexa integration. It also supports Google Assistant, Apple Siri, IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. The plastic housing is protected according to IP67 and is therefore also suitable for humid areas such as bathrooms or boiler rooms.
The detector operates on batteries with a runtime of up to two years. A low battery warning is integrated. Control is possible on Android and iOS.
