Description
The Sunlu FC01 is a filament connector for 3D printing that permanently joins filament spool ends with 1.75 mm diameter. It is suitable for PLA, ABS and PETG and achieves an operating temperature of 185 °C for PLA, with the maximum operating temperature at 240 °C. The heating time is approximately 3 minutes, with the actual connection process taking 10 to 15 seconds.
The temperature is controlled with an accuracy of ±3 °C, enabling repeatable and stable connections. During operation, the housing reaches a temperature of 50 to 100 °C. The device is powered by 5 V and 2 A via an external power source.
This makes the FC01 ideal for 3D printer users who want to join filament remnants or create multicolored prints with color changes without spool changes.
