Description
The Sonoff POWCT is an energy meter with current clamp that measures the power consumption of individual devices or entire circuits without requiring direct contact with live conductors. The clamp covers a current measurement range of 0 to 100 A at a voltage of 100 to 240 V and is suitable for installation in a distribution board with cables up to 15 mm in diameter. The recorded consumption data is stored for up to 6 months and can be exported beyond that.
The connection is made via Wi-Fi according to IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard in the 2.4 GHz band with an SMA antenna interface for stable radio connection. An integrated relay with 2 A output current allows remote control of loads via a contactor. Through the connection to Google Home, Alexa and IFTTT, the device can be integrated into existing smart home systems and monitored via an app.
The PC plastic housing is designed for indoor use and is suitable for operation at temperatures from -40 to 50 °C and relative humidity from 5 to 95 %. With a power consumption of only 2 W, the device operates at a mains frequency of 50/60 Hz and is designed for single-phase installations of measurement category CAT II.
