The Meross MTS960HK is a WLAN plug socket with integrated thermostat that controls connected devices such as heaters, fans or air conditioning units based on temperature. Via an external sensor with 200 cm cable length, it measures the ambient temperature in the range of -30 to 110 °C with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C and switches the connected device to heating or cooling mode according to the set thresholds. The maximum output load is 16 A. Up to 12 schedules per day allow automated control that continues even if WiFi is temporarily lost. Via the Meross app, you can view temperature history and energy consumption; the device also offers temperature calibration to adjust the measured values as well as alarms for excessively high or low temperature and sensor errors. The thermostat connects via 802.11 b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band and can be operated via app as well as Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant and via buttons directly on the device.
