The Special Mix HYDROCORN 8-16 mm is a high-quality expanded clay, made from various clays. It offers an uneven and rough surface that provides excellent grip for roots and creates an ideal substrate for beneficial bacteria and fungal cultures. The porous structure allows for a high water retention capacity, making it suitable for both ebb and flow and capillary irrigation systems. Before the first use, the expanded clay balls should be thoroughly rinsed and soaked in clean water.
