Description
The Gosund SP112 is a smart plug for the European power grid that connects to the home network via 2.4 GHz WiFi. Via the TuyaSmart or Gosund app, connected devices can be switched on and off remotely and automated according to a schedule, for example to simulate presence in the house. In addition to the plug, two USB ports with 2.1 A each are available to charge mobile devices directly.
An integrated energy consumption measurement with an accuracy of 0.1 kWh provides information about the energy consumption of connected devices, an LED indicator shows the current operating state. The plug supports a maximum power of 3680 W with a current of up to 16 A and only consumes 0.4 W itself in standby mode. For integration into existing smart home environments, the SP112 is compatible with IFTTT, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
