Description
The Gosund EP8 transforms connected household appliances into controllable smart home components. Via WLAN (2.4 GHz, 802.11b/g/n), the plug connects to the Gosund, Smart Life or TUYA app, so devices can be switched on and off via smartphone. Additionally, voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is possible.
For everyday use, you can set up schedules in the app for recurring processes as well as a timer function for automatic shutdown after a set duration. Configured devices can also be shared with other users, so other household members also gain access. An LED indicates the status of the plug.
The housing and design are based on the European network standard: the EP8 operates with 220-240 V, is designed for up to 16 A or 3680 W power and features a grounding hole. The housing is made of fire-resistant PC V0 plastic.
