Description
The RainPoint ICS044L is a wired rain sensor for outdoor use that adds automatic rain detection to irrigation controllers with SEN or COM input. Two hygroscopic discs included in the delivery absorb moisture and interrupt watering as soon as it rains; once dry again, the system automatically switches back to normal operation.
Four sensitivity levels (3, 6, 13 or 19 mm) allow you to set the amount of rainfall at which the sensor triggers, while a ventilation ring influences the drying time of the discs and thus the duration until watering resumes. The sensor requires no external power supply and is connected to the controller via a 5-meter cable, which allows flexible placement at your desired location.
