Description
The QNAP QSW-L2110-10T is a Lite Managed desktop-format switch with fully metallic RJ45 connectors: 8 ports with 2.5GbE and 2 ports with 10GbE. By eliminating SFP+ modules, higher transmission rates can be achieved directly over conventional copper cabling, which simplifies the transition from Gigabit networks to higher speeds.
The ports support NBASE-T technology with automatic detection of the possible speed between 100M and 10G. 2.5G and 5G connections can therefore run over older Cat-5e cables, while the 10G ports deliver full performance with Cat-6 cabling or better. A switching capacity of 80 Gbit/s with non-blocking total bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s and a MAC address table for 16000 entries ensure stable throughput in professional use, such as when connecting NAS systems and workstations.
Management is performed via the QSS web interface, which makes basic network functions such as VLAN, LACP and QoS accessible. An integrated loop detection automatically blocks affected ports and thus contributes to the stability of network operation.
