Description
The Freewell FW-CR02-PRO is a compact card reader made from aluminum alloy with additional components from glass, PS and ABS. It offers space for CFexpress Type A and Type B, up to three SD cards in UHS-I/II standard, six Micro-SD cards as well as two Nano-SIM cards and thus covers the common card formats for photo and video work.
Via the USB-C connector with USB 3.2 Gen 1/2, the device achieves transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s and can be used without additional drivers on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS devices. Thanks to the integrated chipsets GL3590, ASM2362 and GL3231S, two cards can be read simultaneously, which accelerates data exchange between different memory cards. With an input voltage of 5 V and an input current of 1.5 A, the reader operates at an operating current of 900 mA.
