The Ottocast CA450 is a wireless adapter for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It transmits the smartphone screen via Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi to the vehicle display and enables touch control with just 80 ms latency. Thanks to the USB-C connector, it also charges the phone with up to 27 W.

Description
The Ottocast CA450 wirelessly connects the smartphone to the vehicle's factory infotainment system and brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the same screen. A single-core ARM Cortex A7 processor at 900 MHz handles processing, while Bluetooth 5.2 BLE and Wi-Fi according to 802.11 a/b/g/n standard in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands provide connection to the phone. The 80 ms latency keeps touch inputs and screen switches nearly delay-free.
Via the USB-C connector, the adapter accepts an input voltage of 5 V at 2 A and provides up to 27 W of fast charging power to the connected smartphone. With dimensions of 6 x 5 x 2 cm and a weight of 85 g, the device is compact and is designed for an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 70 °C, which allows use in the vehicle under varying conditions.
