Description
The Ottocast CA525-T3 converts a wired CarPlay or Android Auto connection into a wireless solution. After inserting it into the USB port, the vehicle system automatically recognizes the adapter, so navigation, music, and telephony start without additional configuration.
For data transmission, Wi-Fi 4 according to 802.11 a/b/g/n in the frequency bands 2.4 and 5 GHz as well as Bluetooth 4.2 are used, controlled by the Allwinner V821 processor with 64 MB RAM and 16 MB internal storage. The adapter stores up to two paired smartphones and automatically connects to the last used device when the vehicle starts.
The metal housing is compactly designed and equipped with a USB connector angled at 90°, allowing space-saving and discreet placement inside the vehicle.
