Description
The Neewer RL45B is an edge-lit LED ring light with an 18-inch diameter, designed for video recording, live streaming, makeup applications, and product photography. The 288 LEDs deliver up to 45 W of power and achieve 3300 lux at 0.5 m distance, with a CRI of 97+ for faithful color reproduction. Thanks to the edge-lit design, the light appears more diffuse and softer than in classic ring lights, which reduces harsh shadows on the face.
With two operating modes, the lighting can be adapted to each scene: In CCT mode, the color temperature can be continuously adjusted between 2900 K and 7000 K from warm to cool, while FX mode offers 12 light effects such as flash, television, or candlelight. Brightness can be adjusted from 0 to 100%.
The housing is made of plastic and weighs 1300 g with dimensions of 54.5 x 44 x 3 cm. For mounting, a cold shoe and a 5/8-inch connector are available, and the light can be used with smartphones, cameras, PC, and Mac.
