Description
The Neewer protective cage is custom-made for Sony models a7R V, a7R IV, a7 IV, a7S III and a1, and consists of black CNC-anodized aluminum. It encases the camera body without restricting access to the battery compartment, connections and controls.
For accessory mounting, 1/4" and 3/8" threads, ARRI positioning holes and cold shoe mounts are available, which can be used to attach microphones, handles or monitors, for example. The Arca-Swiss base at the bottom of the cage allows direct switching between tripod head and gimbal without an additional plate.
With a weight of 180 g, the cage is designed for a maximum additional load of 180 g and is aimed at photographers and filmmakers who want to mechanically secure and expand their Sony camera in professional use.
