Description
The MS-A2-9955 from Minisforum is a barebone mini-PC based on the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX. The processor with Zen 5 architecture provides 16 cores and 32 threads, runs between 2.5 GHz and 5.4 GHz, and features 64 MB L3 cache. For graphics output, the integrated AMD Radeon 610M, combined with the available ports, enables simultaneous operation of up to three displays at resolutions up to 8K@60Hz.
Memory can be expanded via two SO-DIMM slots to up to 96 GB DDR5-5600. For mass storage, M.2 NVMe, U.2 NVMe, and SATA interfaces with a total capacity of up to 15 TB are available, which can be configured as RAID 0 or RAID 1. Network connectivity is provided via two 2.5-Gigabit RJ45 and two SFP+ 10G ports, complemented by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
For expansion, a PCIe x16 slot (electrically PCIe 4.0 x8) is available; additionally, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports as well as one HDMI 2.1 output are present. The system is powered by an external 19 V/12.63 A power supply and runs Windows 11, making it suitable for demanding office and multimedia applications.
