Description
The Minisforum NAS N5 Pro is designed for professional users who want to combine local server performance with flexible data storage. The centerpiece is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370 processor with 12 cores and 24 threads, reaching up to 5.1 GHz and supported by an NPU with 50 TOPS as well as the integrated AMD Radeon 890M GPU. This enables parallel processing, machine learning tasks, and video transcoding in a single device.
For storage operations, 5 HDD bays for a total of up to 144 TB as well as an internal 128 GB system drive are available, complemented by RAID support in modes 0, 1, 5, and 6 for data security and performance. RAM can be expanded from 32 GB to up to 96 GB of DDR5-ECC RAM at 5600 MT/s, creating stable operating conditions for data-intensive applications.
Network connectivity is provided via a 10 GbE and a 5 GbE RJ45 port, supplemented by two USB4 ports, an OCuLink port for external graphics cards, and an internal PCIe x16 slot for expansions. An HDMI 2.1 output supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz. As operating systems, MinisCloud OS, Windows 11 Pro, or Linux are available, allowing the device to be used both as a workstation server and as a private cloud solution.
