Description
The M8 from GMKtec is a compact mini-computer for demanding office and design tasks. The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 6650H CPU with 6 cores, 12 threads and 16 MB L3 cache works together with the integrated Radeon 660M graphics and achieves clock speeds up to 4.5 GHz, calibrated to performance modes of 28 to 40 watts. Thanks to extensive security features including TPM 2.0, the device is also suitable for enterprise environments under Windows 11 Pro.
16 GB of directly soldered LPDDR5 RAM with 6400 MT/s provides low latency and high bandwidth. The pre-installed 512 GB PCIe 3.0 SSD can be expanded tool-free via two free M.2-2280 slots with PCIe 4.0 x4 up to 8 TB each. An OCuLink connector with PCIe Gen4 x4 is also available for connecting an external graphics card.
Via HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB4 connector with DisplayPort support, up to three displays can be operated simultaneously up to 8K at 60 Hz, which facilitates workstations with multiple monitors. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and two 2.5-gigabit LAN ports round out connectivity, while the metal and plastic housing with VESA bracket offers flexible mounting options.
