Description
The GMKtec K8 is a compact mini-PC based on the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, an 8-core processor with 16 threads and a clock speed of 3.8 to 5.1 GHz. Together with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM at 5600 MHz and a 1 TB NVMe-SSD with PCIe 4.0, it provides sufficient power reserves for office, multimedia, and graphics applications. The integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics with 2800 MHz clock speed handles video output without a dedicated graphics card, but can be extended with an external GPU via the OcuLink connector (PCIe 4.0 x4) if needed.
For connectivity, two USB4 connectors with 40 Gbps and DisplayPort Alt Mode, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports are available, complemented by two 2.5G-LAN connectors. Via HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and the two USB4 ports, up to four monitors with 8K resolution at 60 Hz can be operated simultaneously, making the K8 an option for advanced workstations. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 round out the connectivity, while TPM 2.0 and VESA mounting capability support professional environments. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.
