Description
The MikroTik FTC11XG is a media converter that transforms a 10 Gigabit SFP+ fibre optic link to a 10 Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port. Thanks to its IP55 protection rating, the housing is dust and splash water resistant, making it suitable for both indoor spaces and outdoor areas such as roofs or facades. Mounting is to the ceiling, the appropriate mounting kit is included.
Power supply can be flexibly provided via the supplied mains adapter or via PoE in the range of 43-57 V, a PoE injector is also included in the delivery. With a power consumption of only 9-10 W, the energy requirement remains low.
Via the integrated management software SwOS Lite, functions such as interface management, traffic monitoring, VLAN support and access control lists (ACL) are available. Thus, the FTC11XG is aimed at installers and network administrators who need a controllable fibre-copper conversion for professional networks.
