Description
The Meross MSG200 transforms an ordinary garage door into a smart solution that can be easily opened and closed via smartphone. Thanks to integration with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings, the switch can be controlled directly through your existing ecosystem without an additional app. With iOS 13 or Android 6.0 and higher, setup is possible on common operating systems.
The switch is compatible with approximately 1600 garage door models from over 200 brands and is suitable for both older and newer installations. With additional sensors, up to three garage doors can be managed simultaneously on a single device. For operation, the MSG200 uses WiFi according to IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard in the 2.4 GHz band with encryption via WEP, WPA-PSK, or WPA2-PSK.
Before the door closes, the device emits a beep to warn people and animals in the door area. The 1.5 m long power cable and 5 m long sensor cable provide flexibility for installation. Operation is designed for a temperature range of 0 to 40 °C.
