The Meross MSG100HK is a smart garage door opener for retrofitting existing drives. It can be remotely controlled via the app and reports door status in real-time. Thanks to compatibility with over 200 manufacturers and up to 1600 models, it also fits older systems from the 1990s onwards. Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings are also supported.

Description
The Meross MSG100HK retrofits an existing garage door drive system with smart functions instead of replacing it. Via the Meross app, the door can be opened, closed, and monitored remotely, and a notification informs you when the door opens or closes or remains unintentionally open for too long.
The switch's compatibility is broad: it works with drives from over 200 manufacturers and fits up to 1600 models, including older systems from the 1990s. For connection, an existing 2.4 GHz WiFi network and a smartphone with iOS 13 or Android 4.1 or newer is sufficient.
If you already control your home via a voice assistant, you can additionally integrate the MSG100HK into Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Samsung SmartThings and thus use voice commands or routines. The white plastic enclosure is intended for indoor installation at the garage, and the supplied sensor cable measures 7 m.
