Description

The Meross GS559AH is a smart smoke detector with a photoelectric sensor that reliably detects smoke with an alarm sensitivity of 0.115 to 0.168 dB/m and emits an alarm signal of 85 dB. Additionally, the device monitors the ambient temperature and triggers an alarm when it is between 54 and 70 °C, so that overheating is detected early in addition to smoke.

Via the 433 MHz radio connection, multiple devices can be coupled so that a triggered alarm activates all connected detectors simultaneously. Control is via WLAN at 2.4 GHz through the Meross app or the Apple Home app, with the ability to link up to 16 devices in one system. Thanks to compatibility with Apple HomeKit and SmartThings, the GS559AH can be integrated into existing smart home environments and, if necessary, networked via a separately available hub.

Power is supplied via 2 AA batteries with 1.5 V, which can be easily replaced as needed.
