Loona Premium is an interactive robot for children that recognizes gestures, sounds, and faces, and moves autonomously through space. Description
Loona Premium is an interactive robot that recognizes gestures, speech, and the presence of people, and responds accordingly. Via a 720p camera, a 4-microphone array, and a 3D ToF sensor, it perceives its environment, localizes sound sources, and recognizes faces, allowing it to distinguish and recognize individual users.
Movement is provided by two brushless DC motors on the wheels and four brushed servo motors for body and ears, enabling Loona to move independently through the room while avoiding obstacles. The system is powered by a Quad-Core Cortex-A53 processor with 5 TOPS computing power, supported by a Cortex-M4 co-processor and a Dual-Core DSP audio processor with HiFi audio engine. 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage capacity are available for data and applications.
A 2.4-inch LCD display, a 2-watt speaker, and motion sensors such as 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope complement the interaction options. Connection is via Dual-Band WLAN and Bluetooth; the 1350-mAh battery is charged via USB-C.
