The Lindy HDMI fiber optic extender bridges large distances between source and display device without compromising high-resolution video content. Via a duplex LC fiber optic cable with 50/125µm, HDMI 1.4 signals are transmitted losslessly up to 300 meters away, with a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 pixels at 60Hz, 4:2:0 chroma subsampling, and 8-bit color depth. Optical transmission occurs at a wavelength of 850nm and corresponds to laser class 1, which ensures safe operation in professional installation environments. Power supply is via a USB Micro-B connector, the housing is made of black metal. The extender is designed for an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and air humidity of 10 to 75 % and is therefore suitable for use in conference rooms, control rooms, and other installations with longer signal paths.
