Description
The LAPP EV-TYP2 type charging cable connects electric vehicles to a charging station, charging pole or wallbox. The coupling is connected to the vehicle, the plug to the power source, the start and end of the charging process are controlled by the vehicle's onboard electronics itself. It is suitable for both plug-in hybrids and purely battery-electric vehicles.
With charging power of up to 7.4 kW at 32 A and 250 V rated voltage in Mode 3 operation, the cable charges without a separate control box. The silver-plated contacts ensure reliable current transfer, the IP55 protection rating protects against dust and moisture and allows use at temperatures from -40 to 50 °C. The straight, 5 m long cable in Orange is also compatible with CCS connectors (Combo 2).
