Description
The Hohem MIC-01 is a wireless lavalier microphone equipped with a condenser transducer and omnidirectional polar pattern that captures speech and ambient sound evenly from all directions. Signal transmission is via radio on 2.4 GHz with an output delay of just 25 ms, making the system suitable for live broadcasts, interviews, and video production. Via the Lightning connector and Apple MFi certification, it connects directly to compatible smartphones and tablets, and also to cameras, camcorders, and laptops thanks to the 3.5 mm jack input.
Audio data is digitized at 48 kHz sampling rate and 16 bits depth, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 64 dB and sensitivity of -38 dBFS. The frequency response ranges from 20 to 20,000 Hz and thus covers the entire audible spectrum. With a weight of 15 g per transmitter, the MIC-01 goes virtually unnoticed in everyday life.
The transmitter draws its power from a 150 mAh battery and achieves up to 7.5 hours of operating time; the included charging case with 850 mAh extends the total operating time to up to 20 hours and charges the transmitter in approximately 1.5 hours. The system operates with an input voltage of 4.8 to 5.4 V.
