Description
The Habotest HT86B is a digital multimeter that automatically recognizes AC and DC voltage as well as resistance and selects the appropriate measurement range automatically. It covers voltages from 2 to 300 V as well as resistances from 200 Ω to 20 MΩ and achieves an accuracy of ±1,0 % + 5 for voltage and ±1,2 % + 5 for resistance respectively. Thanks to its classification in the CAT III 300V measurement category, it is suitable for measurements on domestic electrical installations.
During continuity testing, the device triggers an acoustic alarm below a resistance of 50 Ω, which makes it easier to detect broken cables. The backlit LCD display remains readable even in poor lighting conditions, and the Data Hold function freezes the displayed measurement value for further evaluation. A low battery indicator signals the need to replace the AAA battery in a timely manner, and after 15 minutes without use the multimeter automatically switches off. An integrated LED flashlight supports work in poorly lit areas such as electrical panels.
