Description
The Gosund EP2-MT is a smart WiFi plug that works directly with common smart home ecosystems such as Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit thanks to the Matter standard. Connected devices can be switched on and off remotely and at any time via the app, and control via voice command via Alexa or Google Assistant is also possible.
An integrated schedule and timer function allows connected devices to be automatically switched on and off at preset times, for example lighting or other household appliances. Energy consumption monitoring shows the current power consumption of connected devices and thus helps to understand the consumption of each device. Overload protection secures operation at a maximum current of 10 A.
At only 4.3 x 4.3 cm, the plug is very compact, which leaves neighboring sockets on multi-socket power strips free. It operates according to the WiFi standard 802.11b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band and is designed for an input voltage of 230 to 250 V at 50/60 Hz.
