Description
The 90° angled adapter connects two HDMI connectors and enables the connection of an HDMI cable even in confined spaces, such as behind televisions or at the side ports of laptops. Thanks to the angled connector shape, the cable rests closer to the device, which prevents sharp bending.
Based on HDMI 2.1, the adapter transmits video and audio signals with a data rate of up to 48 Gbit/s and a maximum resolution of 7860 x 4320 pixels. The gold-plated contacts ensure a stable connection, HDCP 2.2 protects the transmission of encrypted content. The integrated Ethernet channel (HEC) allows shared network connectivity of connected devices without a separate network cable.
Additionally, the adapter supports the CEC function to control multiple HDMI devices via a single remote control as well as eARC/ARC for digital audio transmission between the television and soundbar or hi-fi system.
