Description
The Goobay CAT8.1 network cable reliably connects PCs, laptops, routers, switches, smart TVs, gaming consoles and NAS systems over a length of 15 m. Thanks to S/FTP shielding (PiMF) with aluminium foil and braided shielding, the cable is well protected against external interference. The oxygen-free copper conductors with a 24 AWG cross-section ensure stable signal transmission.
With a transmission frequency of up to 2000 MHz at 100 Ω impedance, the cable achieves data rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. The RJ45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts and are wired straight-through (1:1). The halogen-free LSZH jacket in white makes the cable suitable for environments with high fire protection requirements, with an operating temperature range from -20 to 75 °C.
By supporting PoE, PoE+, UPoE and 4PPoE, devices can also be powered via the same cable, which reduces the cabling effort in home networks, home offices or professional work environments.
