Description
This network cable from Goobay conforms to the CAT6a standard and connects network components via two straight-wired RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. The S/FTP shielding (PiMF) combines a foil shield of the individual wire pairs with a braided shield of the overall cable and thus reliably reduces electromagnetic interference.
With pure copper conductor in 27 AWG, a cable diameter of 5.9 mm and LSZH insulation, the cable is designed to operate between -20 and 65 °C. It supports the Ethernet standards 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T as well as 10-Gigabit Ethernet and enables data rates up to 1.25 Gbit/s at a frequency of 500 MHz. Thanks to suitability for Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+), devices such as access points or cameras can also be powered via it.
