Description
The 79318 network cable from Goobay connects network components via two RJ45 connectors and supports, as a CAT6a cable, the Ethernet standards 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T with data rates up to 10 Gbit/s. The S/FTP shielding (PiMF) protects the individual conductor pairs from electromagnetic interference and makes the cable suitable for demanding environments such as server racks.
Instead of a conventional PVC jacket, the 79318 uses a softer TPE material that makes handling easier. The cable is halogen-free according to LSZH and complies with fire protection standards IEC 60332-1, IEC 61034, and IEC 60754-2. Copper conductors with gold-plated contacts ensure a reliable connection, and the cable also supports power delivery via PoE and PoE+.
