Description
The Goobay 74343 is a CAT 8.1 category network cable with U/FTP shielding and RJ45 connectors on both sides. Due to the slim conductor cross-section of AWG 32 and an outer diameter of only 3.8 mm, it requires significantly less space than conventional cabling, which is particularly noticeable in densely populated server racks and patch panels. The extra-short, gold-plated connectors with a length of 15.3 mm additionally support this space-saving design.
With a transmission bandwidth of 2000 MHz at an impedance of 100 Ω, the cable achieves data transmission rates of up to 40 Gbit/s and remains backward compatible with 10/100/1000/10000 Mbit/s. It supports Power over Ethernet as well as HDBaseT and is thus suitable for applications where data and power supply run over the same line. The halogen-free, low-smoke TPE jacket combined with copper conductors provides a small bending radius and remains operational in the temperature range of -20 to 75 °C.
