Description
This Goobay network cable connects network components via two RJ45 connectors and achieves, thanks to the CAT-6A specification, a maximum data transmission rate of 1.25 Gbit/s at a frequency up to 500 MHz. It supports the Ethernet standards 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T as well as Power over Ethernet in the PoE and PoE+ variants.
The S/FTP shielding (PiMF) protects the individual conductor pairs as well as the entire cable from electromagnetic interference. Inside, a copper conductor with a wire gauge of 27 AWG and 3µ gold-plated contact surfaces ensure stable signal transmission, while the sheath is made of halogen-free LSZH material. The cable is designed for an operating temperature range of -20 to 65 °C and is available in straight-through wiring with a length of 5 m.
