Description
The B760 GAMING X GEN5 from GIGABYTE is an ATX motherboard with LGA 1700 socket that accommodates Intel Core processors from 12th, 13th, and 14th generations as well as Celeron and Pentium Gold models. The Intel B760 chipset controls four DDR5 memory banks for up to 256 GB as well as a PCI Express x16 slot of the fifth generation for current graphics cards.
For data storage, three M.2 slots and four SATA connectors are available. Additionally, integrated RAID support allows configuration of arrays in levels 0, 1, 5, and 10. Network connectivity is handled by a Realtek RTL8125 controller with 2.5 Gbit/s, while a Realtek ALC897 chip provides audio output. Six fan connectors enable flexible case cooling.
For connectivity, the board offers five USB-A 2.0 ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen1 connector, and USB-C with 10 Gb/s, plus DisplayPort and HDMI for video output via an integrated graphics unit. Power is supplied via a 24-pin ATX and an 8-pin ATX 12V connector, with UEFI AMI BIOS handling system configuration.
