Description
The Garrett ACE 400i is a metal detector with five search modes including pinpointing and eight sensitivity and depth levels. It operates with an operating frequency of 10 kHz, which can be adjusted to reduce interference from electrical installations or nearby detectors, making it suitable for group searches as well. A DD-PROformance search coil with dimensions of 8.5 x 11 inches is used.
The digital target identifier displays the conductivity of a found object on a scale of 0 to 99, supported by three audio identification levels and an Iron-Audio function. To distinguish ferrous objects, four segments are available, complemented by an adjustable Notch discrimination to selectively exclude unwanted metal types. The integrated target depth indicator provides additional information about the location of a find.
The device features a metal shaft adjustable in length from 1.06 to 1.29 m and is powered by four supplied AA batteries, whose status is monitored by an integrated display. Thus, the ACE 400i is suitable for adult users searching for coins, jewelry, or historical relics.
